Etiquete Classes

Our goal for the Youth Etiquette and Social Skills Program is to teach teen girls and boys the skills required for appropriate social interaction, as preparation for adult working environments and other society gatherings.

Furthermore, The DOT Organization will educate teens on the importance of social etiquette as an asset to career goals and accomplishments.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Youth Etiquette and Social Skills Program is a series of eight workshops held 1 to 2 hours per week three times per year. Workshops and sessions for girls and boys will be held separately, with one or two sessions conducted together to reinforce appropriate interaction. This program content is similar for both groups, but suitable topics will be presented where necessary. Parental Involvement – Parents will be invited to attend and participate in several of the activities as deemed appropriate. Parental commitment to and participation in the program will be stressed as an asset to the teens’ progress and success in this program.
