Girls With A Purpose

Girls with a Purpose, sponsored by The DOT Organization, Inc., encourages girls between the ages of eight and twelve to acknowledge and address all aspects of their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development.  The program directly focuses on education, nutrition, abstinence, dating, etiquette, gender identification, and safety (internet/personal).

 The program is designed to direct life experiences through participation in positive character building activities as a means to prevent at-risk behavior, such as pregnancies, gang association, eating disorders, and drug or alcohol abuse.

 By exposing participants to positive activities and role model volunteers, the girls should be healthier, have a more positive self-image, and develop well-defined social and personal skills.
