The purposes for which the corporation is organized are exclusively charitable and educational and consist of the following:

1. To provide for the betterment of the South Jersey community through a commitment to address emerging community concerns and problems as they relate to the community’s youth; to offer services and mentoring on behalf of troubled, minority, low-income, and at-risk youth, in order to provide a positive influence for these youth and heighten their awareness of educational and economic empowerment opportunities; and to build bridges between the home, school, and community.

2. To have and exercise all powers necessary or convenient to effect any or all of the purposes for which the corporation is organized which are allowed pursuant to the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act, N.J.S.A. 15A:1-1 et seq. to the extent such activities are allowable under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, or applicable provision of any subsequent law.
